NEW DATES 06/03/2013
Despite the recent postponements, new dates have been added throughout the year and Elkie will be making stops in Chelmsford, Barrow, Truro, Dartford, Southport, Brecon and Newark. More details can be found on the concerts page.
TOUR UPDATE 06/03/2013
We are sorry to announce that Elkie has been taken ill and consequently the shows in Wavendon, Yeovil and Redhill have all been re-arranged. Elkie sends her sincere apologies and is truly upset not to be able to perform at the moment. She is taking some time to recover and is hopeful to be back onstage singing again in Ilkley.

ELKIE'S ARM 20/01/2013
Thanks to everyone who braved the conditions to come out and see the show in Cheltenham last night. It was very much appreciated by Elkie and the band. As some of you are aware, Elkie fell yesterday before the show and has hurt her hand and wrist badly. Despite this, Elkie went ahead with the concert last night and is now on her way to hospital for x -rays to see how bad the damage is. Owing to this, she will not be appearing at Jewish Book Week tomorrow. We apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

ELKIE'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 14/12/12
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who have been so supportive yet again this year. It has been a long and taxing, but ultimately very rewarding year. The release of my book in the summer was a big thing for me and the overwhelming positive feedback has been so reassuring, I was very touched by your response to it and so glad to hear you have been enjoying the read. Thanks to those of you who were able
to make the book launch in Mayfair, that was a very enjoyable event and so nice to meet some of you.
The tour has yet again been great fun and we have have had a blast. My apologies to any of you that have been inconvenienced by the cancellations this year. I think with the concert schedule, the book promo and everything else I got a little run down and consequently had a few nasty bouts of laryngitis. I am so very much looking forward to a relax over Christmas and some walking along the beach.
I wish you all a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year and am very excited at the prospect of hitting the road again in January!

JEWISH BOOK WEEK 14/12/12
Elkie will be a part of the prestigious Jewish Book Week Festival, which takes place in London during January. Elkie will be interviewed about her life and career as well as signing copies of her book and performing a few songs wih Andy, Lee and Steve. UPDATE ON ELKIE 05/12/12
It is with great regret that we have to announce that Elkie's sold out show in Berwick tomorrow will not be happening. As some of you know, Elkie has had an extreme run of bad luck with her health this year and had to postpone quite a few concerts. At the end of her last show in Leamington Spa she experienced some issues with her voice which in due course have turned into laryngitis and she has been on complete vocal rest since. Elkie is deeply upset to have to postpone another show this year, but is hopeful to be better in time for Saturday in Stockton.
THE STABLES 14/11/12
Elkie's upcoming show at the Stables in Milton Keynes on March 2nd has now Sold Out. Due to demand, another date has been added for December 7th 2013. Tickets will be onsale this week.
STURMER HALL 14/11/12
Please note that a supposed upcoming show by Elkie currently being advertised to take place at Sturmer Hall near Haverhill on December 1st is NOT taking place. Due to a scheduling conflict, this was cancelled back in September. For reasons unknown to us, the show is still being advertised and those of you who have tickets should seek a refund from the venue box office.
VINTAGE TV 22/10/12
Elkie's interview with Pat Sharp will appear on Vintage TV on Tuesday 27th November at 7pm and will be repeated Thursday 29th November at 11am and Saturday 1st December at 1pm. Vintage TV can be seen on Sky 369 and Freesat 515.
2013 TOUR DATES 17/10/12
A couple of new dates have been added to Elkie's 2013 tour. After selling out the ARC in Stockton, a new date has been added due to the demand on April 20th and while up in Scotland a date at the newly refurbished Gaiety in Ayr will take place on January 29th.
JOOLS HOLLAND 02/10/12
Elkie will be the special guest of Jools Holland on his BBC Radio 2 show this coming Monday October 8th at 11pm. Recorded last month Elkie talks about her career and new autobiography and performs a track with Jools and his band. For more details, click here.

Due to a scheduling conflict, Elkie's show in Sturmer Hall on December 1st has been postponed. A new date will be posted as soon as we have more information. Sorry to anyone who has been disrupted by this change of date.

Elkie is visiting Jools Holland in the studio tomorrow to record for his Radio 2 show. Elkie will perform with Jools and his band, talk about her autobiography, album and listen to some of her favourite songs! We will let you know when we have a transmission date for this, but it is hoped to be early October.

SMOOTH RADIO GIG 30/07/12
Elkie will be performing a small acoustic show for Smooth Radio on August 13th. This special show will feature Elkie performing a few songs and talking about her life, career and new book all in the stunning surroundings of the legendary Concorde aircraft in Manchester Airport. The concert will be broadcast over the August Bank Holiday weekend. You can enter the competition to win tickets for this special event by visiting the Smooth Radio website.
BOOK LAUNCH 30/07/12
Elkie's book launch in Mayfair last week was a huge success with many names and faces from Elkie's career and indeed some lucky fans turning out to support her. Elkie had a lovely evening and posted a thank you note on her facebook, alongside some photos from the event.
THE BOOK / POWERLESS 19/07/12
Since yesterday's appearance on BBC Breakfast, sales of Elkie's book and albums of gone through the roof. Amazon have currently sold out of Finding My Voice, The Greatest Hits and Powerless. More stock should be with them later today. Elkie's book currently resides at the number 1 position for Rock and Pop biographies on the Amazon book chart and number 30 overall. Powerless reached the Amazon top 20 music chart yesterday and we are hoping this kind of success will continue over the coming weeks. Watch this space for any more confirmed TV and Radio appearances.

BOOK LAUNCH EVENT 01/07/12
To celebrate the release of Elkie's autobiography a special book launch will be held in London on July 24th. Elkie will appear at the Dover Street Jazz and Wine venue talking about her new book, answering questions, performing a few songs and signing copies of the book.
This will be a private event, however, courtesy of The Robson Press we have a few spaces for some of you to attend this very special one off evening. OFFICIAL POWERLESS RELEASE 12/06/12
Good News!!! Elkie's Powerless album will finally have an official release this summer. The CD will be available in HMV and independent retailers and through all online outlets from July 16th.
OCTOBER FLIGHT 11/06/12
October Flight's debut album - The Closing Doors is released today in various parts of Europe. Featuring the duet Start Again with Elkie. The song and album can be downloaded here or the CD purchased here.
THE LOWRY 10/05/12
Elkie will be putting on another show stopping performance at one of her favourite venues, The Lowry in her hometown of Salford. Tickets for the show on October 23rd go on sale this Friday May 11th. See the concerts page for more details.

We appreciate all the patience you have shown regarding details on Elkie's upcoming autobiography 'Finding My Voice'. New dates are constantly being added to Elkie's tour. Visits to Stroud, Bury St Edmunds and Redhil have now been confirmed and are on sale. Many others are being arranged and details will be available over the coming weeks.
KESWICK 23/04/12

Elkie will be headling the opening night of Cowes Week Festival on the Isle Of Wight on August 9th. Elkie loves being on the Isle and this is sure to be a wonderful night with the concert taking place on the Marina. Tickets are not yet available but more details will follow.
NORTH EAST SHOWS 04/04/12

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who has come along to see the tour this year. I appreciate that times are hard at the moment and am so thankful so many of you turned up to support us. I have had a lovely time on the road as always and am very much looking forward to 2012. We have some great new songs planned for the live set, some of which have been tried out at the last few shows and I will be releasing my autobiography in the summer. There will be no time to rest on my laurels next year!

Elkie will be performing her last show of 2011 in Wales this coming Saturday and further details of her 2012 tour have now been posted on the concerts page. The tour will run throughout the year with Elkie taking some time in the summer months to promote her forthcoming autobiography.
FURTHER 2012 TOUR DATES 13/11/11
Even more dates have been confirmed for Elkie's 2012 tour. Stops will be made at Millfield, Felixstowe, Maidstone, Blackpool and Ashburton.
BOB HARRIS BBC RADIO 2 29/09/11
In the summer Elkie took part in a special programme about the history of the Old Grey Whistle Test to broadcast on BBC Radio 2. She joined the likes of Brian May, Jackson Browne and Emmylou Harris in the studio to celebrate this legendary music programme.
Elkie's live session featuring tracks from her new album Powerless are scheduled to be aired on Bob's Sunday show this coming weekend October 2nd.
BBC Four have also been running footage of Elkie during her time in Vinegar Joe as part of the celebrations. The programme "Old Grey Whistle Test: 70's Gold" was shown twice last weekend and can now be viewed online here.
BARNSTAPLE CHARITY CONCERT 29/09/11
It has been 10 years since Elkie performed in Barnstaple, North Devon the town she now calls home and she has now decided to perform a very special concert in aid of Children's Hospice South West. This memorable event will take place at the Queen's Theatre on June 16th 2012 with all profitis going to the cause.
Elkie will be supported by local singer Jenna Witts and the evneing will be hosted by BBC Radio Devon's Judi Spiers.
Tickets priced at £25 and £75 VIP (which includes premium seating, Souvenir Brochure, VIP Laminate and Post show champagne reception with Elkie) will be on sale Friday 30th September.
Tickets are expected to go quickly and can be purcahsed by phone on 01271 32 42 42 or online through the Queen's Theatre.

JERRY LEIBER 23/08/11
Legendary songwriter Jerry Leiber has died aged 78. Famous for so, so many classic songs with his partner Mike Stoller, they wrote Elkie's classic hit single Pearl's A Singer and produced her albums Two Days Away and Live and Learn in the late 1970's. Elkie was saddened to hear the news this morning and sends her love and best wishes to his family and loved ones.

Unfortunately the date for Elkie's London show has been moved to February 24th due to a double booking at the venue. Tickets will be onsale next week.

As part of the 2012 tour Elkie will be visiting her favourite London venue Cadogan Hall on her 67th Birthday, February 25th. This promises to be another special night and will be onsale in the near future.
